NCompass is currently being used in a variety of installations to solve customer business situations. Examples are: A major mid-western grocery distribution company is using NCompass in conjunction with NCase to track the entry and exit of their vehicles at their distribution centers. NCompass is able to detect the vehicles within a range to send the vehicle information via NCase to their yard management application. The yard management application assigns a dock location to the vehicle and sends that information to a hand-held device at the security station. When the vehicle stops at the security station the security officer informs the driver where to park his vehicle. A mid-western vehicle manufacturer is using NCompass to track the entry and exit of company-owned vehicles at their research and development center. Ncompass, in conjunction with NCase, sends a formatted inquiry to customer's access control system. This inquiry requests the information about the identification of the driver who presented their access control credentials. NCompass then marries the reply with the vehicle information and, via Ncase, sends the complied information to a customer database of company vehicle locations. A Latin American company is using NCompass to determine the location of employees during evacuation situations. NCompass collects personnel information that is then displayed graphically by NVision. NCompass in this installation is tracking the locations of 2400 employees seen at 27 different readers zones. An Asian company is using NCompass to determine the location of employees. NCompass along with NCounter constantly monitors the reader zone location of all employees. NCompass is monitoring the status of approximately 800 employees within 11 readers zones.
