Primary Function
Version Operation Filters and Transformations Supported Output
V3.6S Windows GUI monitors database for new events, builds an EventXML, transforms the EventXML and outputs to known TCP/IP location. Filter on Assets, Types, Events, Types, and Input Channels. Select individual EventXML Elements and Transform with XSLT. Includes pre-process and post-process headers and footers (hex or ASCII), hex encoding, encryption (Reflexive XOR), and operation ordering. Any TCP/IP Client or Server software that accepts incoming connected data (XML or otherwise)
V3.6W Windows GUI monitors database for new events, builds an EventXML, transforms the EventXML and outputs to known TCP/IP location or known URL that accepts HTTP POST. Filter on Assets, Types, Events, Types, and Input Channels. Select individual EventXML Elements and Transform with XSLT. Includes pre-process and post-process headers and footers (hex or ASCII), hex encoding, encryption (Reflexive XOR), and operation ordering. Any TCP/IP Client or Server software that accepts incoming connected data (XML or otherwise) or ASP / PHP Web Object that accepts HTTP POST data.
V4.0 Windows Service that monitors database for new events, builds an EventXML, transforms the EventXML and outputs to known TCP/IP location or known URL that accepts HTTP POST. Filter on EventXML Element values. Transform whole EventXML with XSLT.
Configurations
  Version Feature Detail
All Multiple Output Channels Multi-threaded environment allows multiple active outbound TCP/IP connections simultaneously.
All Remote Database Connectivity Separate database operations from data collection.
All XSLT Transformations Go Wild! The starting point is the Event XML; from there apply any XSLT to get the desired output (even binary data bursts).
All Auto Enrollment of Assets Filters may be applied to all know assets, or all assets know at that time of setup or discovered after setup is complete.
V3.6W / V4.0 Web Object Enabled POST transformed data to the Web. Supply a URL that accepts HTTP POST and Ncase will connect and POST the transformed data.
V4.0 Remote Administration The addition of a TCP/IP configurations port allows for administration of an Ncase Instance from afar.
V4.0 Accepts inbound EventXML from NCompass V4.0W/L Import and update the type library as new hardware types come to market. Custom library entrys available for legacy hardware.
